Bespoke bridal

How Long Does It Take To Have A Bespoke Dress Made?

This is depends on the design of the dress, but we usually ask for 6 Months Min to allow time to design make and fit your dress.

Do I Need To Source The Fabrics?

We have hundreds of bridal fabric samples for you to choose from, including laces, silks, polyester and lots more fabrics. If you’d like to bring your own fabric we would be more than happy to use that and also assist with how much to buy.

How Much Does It Cost To Have A Bespoke Dress Made?

Every design is different, but base cost is from £2,500 this includes the initial consultation and all the fittings.

How Many Fittings?

For bespoke bridalwear we offer at least 5/6 fitting appointments to help see your dress taking shape. The full process is detailed on the Bespoke Bridal page or download our full Bridalwear Pack here.

Wedding Dress Alterations

When Do I Need To Book My First Consultation?

We ask that you book your initial consultation 12 weeks before your wedding. This gives time for alterations and further fittings.

How Much Will My Alterations Be?

My Dress Is Beaded, Can It Be Altered?

Yes! Please don’t panic! Every dress can be altered no matter how intricate the design or details!

How Many Appointments Will I Have?

As many as needed! This is unique to each bride. In most cases an initial consultation followed by a further fitting 4 weeks later is usually suffice.

Formal/Casualwear Alterations

When I Drop My Jeans In, Do I Need An Appointment?

Yes, we work by appointment only.

How quickly can you alter my garments?

Garments can be altered within 1-2 days, if you have a specific date in mind please let us know.

Do You Work With Leather?

Unfortunately, our machines are not equipped to handle leather material

Do You alter Men’s Clothing?

Yes we alter men’s clothing too!

Where are you located?

Emma Guard Design, 7-9 Chatsworth Road, Worthing, BN11 1LY. There is parking on the road and also a multi-storey car park at the end of the street.

Can I Pay By Card Or Bank Transfer?

We can accept all types of card payments in the shop, if you would prefer to do bank transfer please get in touch beforehand and we can send over details for transfer.

Can I Bring my Friends and Family To My Appointment?

Yes, you are more than welcome to bring a family member or friends to an appointment. The studio has seating room for 3-4 guests. Covid Restrictions Apply.

When do I pay for my alterations?

Payment is always on collection of the garment. When you are happy with the final alterations.
